C’mon Ford, couldn’t you have just made it hold a full gallon?

Top off your overflow tank with the rest - what’s the worst that could happen?

I usually just drink the rest.

Probably didn’t use a hose to wash out all the old oil.

THIS...
Disclaimer: I flushed the coolant after buying it, but the stop-leak pellets that the previous owner must have added, had formed a nice baseball field clay-esque sludge at the bottom of the radiator. +/-3000 miles after the flush, the sludge decided it wasn’t going to hang around in the bowels of my cooling system anymore, and made its way on over to the radiator’s coolant inlet , blocking everything up, and cracking the plastic from the pressure/heat. I shut the car off as soon as I saw the temp gauge rising above normal, but a few seconds later, as I was coming to a stop on the side of the road, POP! Rancid coolant steam came up over the hood, and after I replaced the radiator, I discovered another problem. While pressure testing the system, it started leaking out of the upper intake manifold, as that had cracked as well. There went another $150, on top of the $200 I’d spent on the radiator, thermostat, and coolant. Only really good news that came of this was that my heater core, water pump, and head gaskets were still in good shape! Either way, this pig is getting sold as soon as it gets back on the road with a clean bill of health. And it’ll hopefully sell quickly, too, thanks to how cheap gas is right now.

It's the same way with the Tauruses I've had, it annoys me to no end to have just a little left.
